I had the pleasure of photographing 5 day old baby N last week… isn’t he just gorgeous! I seriously thought about having another one when I saw him… 
He was so good to me when I was photographing him…
This is the last post for 2008… I’ve had a wonderful time meeting all the gorgeous families I have photographed this year…

especially when I get beautiful subjects like these two… I’ve photographed this family before, it was such a pleasure going back to photograph them again and with a new addition to the family… and what an adorable addition she is…

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these two gorgeous girls a couple of times… Today it was Mum’s turn… both the girls are very excited about having a new baby brother or sister to play with… Looks like there might be an extra surprise under the Christmas tree for them this year! Mum looks absolutely stunning with her third baby just about to arrive…

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing two of these gorgeous children a couple of times this year… and was asked to photograph them again with their cousins for Christmas… We met up at the Power House and New Farm Park for the shoot… what a great location….
First up is gorgeous ‘C’, isn’t she adorable…

and Sisters, who say they don’t like each other, but I betcha they do!!!!
and here’s a couple of out-takes from the shoot which I LOVE… they crack me up… Little ‘J’ & ‘C’ have decided they’ve had enough photo’s and are running away…
and the two sisters are laughing at ‘J’ running away below, while ‘C’ decides to give me a radiant smile…

I had a session with the below family at their local park… There’s been alot of rain here the last week, so everything was still drying out and a bit muddy… but everybody managed to keep clean including gorgeous little ‘S’ who was more interested in exploring the park than getting his photo taken, he was on the go the whole session as all children are at his age… I managed a few little smiles though… doesn’t he have the most amazing eyes!
I photographed this gorgeous family on Saturday at New Farm park… what a busy afternoon it was, there were gorgeous Brides and bridal parties everywhere… such a popular place for photos…

I decided to have a little mini session with my son… the weather was perfect, so I put the pedal car in the boot and off we went… when I arrived at this gorgeous destination, the sun decided it was going to shine and my son didn’t want to co-operate, but I managed to get this one before I gave up!

I am looking at expanding my portfolio for High School Seniors and Teenagers aged between 15-19 years. Sessions will occur between January/February 2009… The selected teenagers will receive a free photo session and 3 - 8×12 prints of their favourite images, plus the same high res images on disc to print or put on facebook etc.
The selected teenagers must sign a model release and be open to my artistic vision…
If you have a love of sport, play a musical instrument, a great flair for fashion or want to pull out your high school formal dress, please email me 2 images of yourself (full length and head shot) at helen@imagesbyhelen.com

It was a fantastic 3 days working with Leah Profancik and other Brisbane photographers… The farm location for the second shoot was divine… a photographers paradise and gorgeous kids also… I had a ball shooting with everyone. I’ve only managed to work on a couple because of the flu, but will upload more as I work on them.
On Sunday I met up with a few other Brisbane photographers for an Urban session… The very talented Leah Profancik from the USA is here to visit and came along to inspire us all… Here’s a few shots from the session…
